“For my twenty first birthday I got a pair of roller skates. The day that I decided to break them out and go for a spin was the day that I broke my tibia and talus. I tripped over some rocks while braking and as soon as I hit the ground I knew the break was bad. I ended up getting surgery the next day, having a steel plate and eight screws placed in my ankle. After a month of being in the cast, I finally get to upgrade to the boot and put some pressure on my foot.” - Mo
